The report outlines the global impact work carried out throughout its supply chains and operations to reinforce its ongoing commitment to creating products and solutions that support a socially equitable and more sustainable planet.

Aligning with Westrock Coffee’s commitment to responsibly source coffee and tea by 2025, the report highlights Westrock Coffee’s leadership in the industry with a focus on fairness social and economic opportunities. These strengths include proprietary programs developed to support farmer development, economic transparency, digital traceability and environmental mitigation throughout its supply chain. Some of the most notable achievements included in the report are:
- Trained 46,000 partner farmers in extension services across the Westrock Coffee group of companies
- Launch of an internal framework for the verification of coffee and tea from responsible sources in the main supply chains
- Completion of the first “garden to final packaging” carbon footprint analysis for freshly brewed tea products
In partnership with the Committee for Sustainable Assessment (COSA) and the British Standards Institution (BSI), Westrock Coffee has created its Responsible Sourcing Policy as a supplier assurance framework affirming that all products will be sourced and processed from a fair way for the people who grow and manage them, as well as their employees, their peers and the environment.
Going forward, Westrock Coffee will use its current commitment to ensure 100% responsibly sourced coffee and tea as a stepping stone to the company’s future sustainability commitments.
