Vermögensverwalter-Forum: the completely physical event concept convinces many participants on site

The Vermögensverwalter-Forum (Forum for Asset Management) celebrated its ninth anniversary last Thursday as part of the 11th Baader Investment Conference in Munich. After two years of holding the event in virtual or hybrid format, a total of 250 attendees took the opportunity to exchange ideas on current investment and industry topics in the same physical space.

The core program covered a wide range of issues, in particular the current market situation and different asset classes. Additionally, one of the panels focused explicitly on successful women in male-dominated fields and offered diverse perspectives on the financial, sports, and pharmaceutical industries.

Various presentations covered topics from the FinTech and finance sectors – speakers including Erik Podzuweit, Founder and Co-CEO of Scalable Capital and Achim Plate, CEO of Lloyd Fonds AG (LAIQON) – as well as topics from non-specialist areas such than a presentation by health expert and personal trainer Uwe Conell.

The program was supplemented by the “Expert Dialogue”, which is already an integral part of the Vermögensverwalter-Forum. Considering the current market situation, the panel of experts intensively discussed today’s dominant topics: the energy crisis, inflation, monetary policy, the economy, economic policy and their consequences. in the international stock, bond and foreign exchange markets. During the process, differing opinions were also expressed, which resulted in different market assessments.

Next year, on September 21, 2023, the Vermögensverwalter-Forum will be held again as part of the Baader Investment Conference and then as an anniversary edition for the tenth time.
