For nearly 65 years, UWMCM, together with local partners, has provided valuable and essential services to residents of Lincoln and Sagadahoc counties, as well as the cities of Brunswick and Harpswell. Their mission to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities is the current that guides their efforts to provide the best start for children, build financial stability, and help everyone live healthier, more connected lives. The UWMCM Board of Trustees initiated this strategic planning project in recognition of the immense challenges facing community members, as well as the opportunities that exist to create solutions. The October 14 community forums follow a previous strategic planning session with partner organizations funded in August.
