With an engineering background from the Ecole Supérieure d’Ingénieurs Aéronautique et Engines, supplemented by an MBA in management, Hedna, 50, joined Renault Trucks in 1996 where he held the position of Engine Research and Development Engineer (1996-1999). In 2000, Hedna was appointed Volvo Trucks Group Engineering Manager (2000-2006) before assuming the roles of Global Commodity Manager (2007-2010), Purchasing Director (2011-2014) and Vice President Powertrain Business Strategy at course of the last 2 years. .
Following Hedna’s appointment as President of UD Trucks Middle East on November 1, 2016, he moved to the United Arab Emirates and is permanently based at UD Trucks’ regional headquarters in Dubai.
