The 2nd International Rechallenge Forum took place successfully!
LOS ANGELES, CA, Oct. 21, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ — Along with the Fail Expo in Chungbuk, the Ministry of Home Affairs and Security (MOIS, Lee Sang-min) successfully hosted the 2nd International Rechallenge Forum in DongbuChangko in Cheongju City on Thursday, October 13.
As a successful second anniversary this year, the International Rechallenge Forum was organized to share the culture of using failure as a social asset and promote such an institutional milieu. In addition, he continued to seek better plans for the future and a growing capacity for creative innovation.
Starting from the 2nd International Rechallenge Forum and the opening ceremony of Fail Expo in Chungbuk, the Forum held sessions under the theme of Assessing Failure (Session 1) and Daring Challenge (Session 2), consisting of presentations, discussions, questions and answers.
For this year’s event, citizens of Chungbuk joined to share their progress in evaluating failures, followed by performance supporting challenges and other discussions. A lecture was attended on the roles of governmental and non-governmental sectors in spreading the culture in which people accept, embrace and tolerate failures, in addition to international solidarity. This event was attended by Mona Ismail, President of AaltoES, which hosts Finland’s “Failure Day”, Pekka Metso, Finnish Ambassador to Korea, Noh Junyong, Director of KAIST Center for Ambitious Failure and Koo Bonkeun, the general manager of the MOIS Local Innovation Office.
During the first session, Michael Lum, Master Trainer of Hard Knocks College, Paul Iske, Financial Director of the Brilliant Chess Institute, and Professor Yian Yin of Northwestern University presented the cases and results from different countries. in learning and failure studies. Professor Park Sangkyu from Korea Nazarene University and Lee Junghee, President of the Korea Women Startup Forum, joined the panel to discuss capitalization ways to minimize failures and provide new opportunities and challenges.
During the second session, Carlos Zimbron, COO of F*kup Night, Mona Ismail, President of AaltoES, and Assistant Research Professor Ahn Hyejeong of the KAIST Center for Ambitious Failure presented the cultural and institutional factors that disrupt challenges and challenges and limitations and possibilities found through sharing and analyzing failures. Kang Kihoon, CEO of Youth Hope Factory, joined the panel to discuss ways to revitalize bold challenges.
