Srinagar Smart City Advisory Forum Holds Meeting

Srinagar, August 23: A meeting of the Srinagar Smart City Consultative Forum (SSCAF) was held at the TRC meeting hall here on Tuesday.

The meeting was attended by MP (LS), Mayor of Srinagar City, Commissioner SMC/CEO SSCL, Chief Engineer of PW Department (R&B), VC SDA, ACEO SSCL, SSP Traffic, Chief Engineer SSCL, GM P&UD SSCL, Officers of various other departments; as well as the fellowship of traders, technical experts and members of civil society.

At the start, CEO of Srinagar Smart City, Athar Aamir Khan gave a detailed presentation of the various projects under the Smart City mission including river front development, water transport, road redevelopment, l ICCC, ITMS, urban mobility, beautification of the city, establishment of the central business district. gradation, heritage conservation and downtown renewal, cycle paths, footbridges, integrated solid waste management, Brari Nambal development, Dal Lake front development, etc.

A detailed discussion also took place regarding the various projects supported by SSCL. Subsequently, valuable suggestions, opinions and contributions were shared by all participants, duly noted by the Srinagar Smart City team.

During this time, the participants gave their endless support to SSCL for the successful and timely completion of the projects.

The meeting ended with a vote of thanks to all participants and an acknowledgment of the active support of all operational departments, various organizations, the trader fraternity and members of civil society and the handiwork of the Srinagar Smart City Limited team.
