Now in its 5th year, Lafarge’s Concrete Ideas series has become not only a leading platform for the discussion of construction and real estate sector policies, but also deliberations on policy issues. wider public. The Actionable Ideas Platform embodies Lafarge Africa’s thought leadership interventions and has become a catalyst for achieving lasting change, continuous improvement and business success within the sector.

According to Head, Corporate Communications, Lafarge Africa Plc, Ginikanwa Frank-Durugbor, Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu is expected to chair the fifth edition and lead other renowned experts in both the public and private sector of the construction industry in discussion to offer far-reaching solutions and recommendations at the event.

Frank-Durugbor added that the fifth edition would allow key stakeholders and participants to share their voices and learn from a wide range of stakeholders in the Nigerian construction and construction landscape.

Experts expected at the event include Lagos State Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Dr. Idris Salako; Special Advisor to the Governor for Works and Infrastructure; Monsurat Aramide Adeoye, Managing Director, Lagos State Physical Planning Permit Authority (LASPPPA), Kehinde Osinaike; Chief Executive Officer, Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA); Gbolahan Owodunni Oki; Acting President, Purple, Ms. Olajumoke Akinwunmi; MD/CEO, Urban Shelter Limited, Saadiya Aliyu and Head, Mortar, Innovation & New Product Development, Lafarge Africa Plc, Femi Yusuff.

Since its launch in October 2020, the sessions have brought together leaders from several professional bodies in the construction sector as well as senior government officials, including the Minister of Public Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN who participated in three sessions and the Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Olamilekan Adegbite.
