Pork producers are invited to register for the National Pork Industry Forum, taking place March 9-11 at the Omni Louisville Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky. The Hog Act delegate sessions are open to the public.
Former NFL quarterback and broadcaster Joe Theismann will kick off the event. His message of teamwork and unity will ignite delegates as they come together and tackle important work to create opportunities for the pork industry and overcome the obstacles it faces.
Producer input and participation at the Pork Industry Forum is critical to the future of the industry and their Pork Fee. At the Forum, producers:
- Learn how Pork Checkoff’s annual planning process and strategic investments protect their freedom to operate through collaboration, communication and coordination with industry stakeholders.
- Learn how BNP funds research into exotic animal diseases, specifically related to African swine fever, in collaboration with swine health organizations, universities, and state associations.
- Learn how AgView, a Checkoff-funded, grower-authorized disease traceability platform, helps prevent and prepare for PCD.
- Find out how Real Pork – the industry’s trusted brand and image – differentiates pork from alternatives.
