Professional Financial Advisors Forum on June 23
The Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas will host a forum for professional counselors
The Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas (CFSEK) will host the 2022 Estate Planning Forum at Crestwood Country Club in Pittsburg beginning at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, June 23.
The one-day Forum, held annually in partnership with Foulston Siefkin LLP of Wichita, is open to Southeast Kansas attorneys, CPAs, insurance professionals, and financial advisors.
Participants will learn about new developments in estate planning, earn up to six continuing education credit hours and enjoy a free lunch courtesy of CFSEK.
This year’s Forum includes sessions on legal ethics; estate planning for clients in good health concerns or disabilities; asset protection and income tax reduction strategies; And one update on recent legislative, judicial and regulatory developments at the state and federal levels levels. Sessions will be taught by Kathleen J. Selzler Lippert, JD, of the Office of the Disciplinary administrator; and Tim O’Sullivan, JD, LLM and Corey of Foulston Siefkin Moomaw, JD, LLM.
The Forum has been approved for 6 hours of CLE credit (including one hour of ethics credit) and 5 insurance CE credit hours. It also offers a recommended credit of 5 hours of CPE for
accountants and 5 PACE credit hours for qualified financial advisors.
