North East Forum backs Girei for National Vice Presidency – The Sun Nigeria

A group under the auspices of the relevant APC North East Forum has declared its support for Senator Abubakar Girei as National Vice President of the All Progressive Congress (APC) ahead of his convention scheduled for March 26.

The forum, in a statement signed by its leader, Comrade Bappare Mohammed, commended the party leadership for zoning the post of national vice president from north to northeast, a move the forum considered commendable.

According to the forum, there is no one with the pedigree of Senator Girei to hold such a position to provide necessary assistance to anyone who emerges as National President in managing party affairs for the success of all elections in 2023.

Recall that Senator Girei was elected Senator for Adamawa Central Constituency in Adamawa State, Nigeria at the start of the Fourth Nigerian Republic on May 29, 1999 and appointed to the Senate Service, Banking and currency, internal affairs (vice-president) and local commissions. & External debts.

“Senator Girei’s political pedigree is very remarkable and is a political asset to the APC, hence our support for him to bring his wealth of political experience to the leadership of our great party.

“We call on all northern delegates to the national convention to rally in support of Senator Abubakar Girei’s accolade as the party’s National Vice Chairman.

“He is a tested and trusted candidate with all the requisite political experience who will help our great party, so we are bold to say he is the best man for the job.”

“We call on governors, members of the National Assembly, serving and former members of the National Assembly and all delegates from the north to lend their support to Senator Abubakar Girei as the National Vice President of our great party. , it will not disappoint,” he said.
