Mingtiandi forum in Singapore is close to sale

More than 170 attendees have now booked tickets for the Mingtiandi Singapore Focus Forum, an Asian real estate investment conference bringing together representatives from the largest pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, general partners and developers, to be held on October 18.

The one-day event at the ParkRoyal Collection hotel in Marina Bay is now set to welcome guests from major limited partners including Korea Investment Corporation, GIC, Temasek Holdings, Oxford Properties and Ivanhoé Cambridge.

Private equity fund managers in attendance will include representatives from firms such as Keppel Capital, LaSalle Investment Management, PGIM Real Estate and Brookfield, as the event is now expected to exceed its attendance target of 200 industry professionals.

The convergence of the Asian property investor community for Mingtiandi’s inaugural event in the City of Lion adds to the opportunities for discussion and dialogue as the program explores Singapore’s property markets through a series of panels and interviews.

More speakers join the list

Over the past few days, the Singapore forum has added new speakers, including Trent Winduss, partner and head of investments in Australia, as well as head of structured debt in Asia for Phoenix Property Investors. Winduss will join the forum’s Singapore-Australia Connection panel, which will also include speakers from Ivanhoé Cambridge, SDAX and JLL.

Adrian Chui, Managing Director of ESR-Logos REIT, also signed up for the program this week. Chui will speak before the Singapore Industry Panel, which also includes representatives from Hines, BlackRock and Lazard.

The forum’s latest panel, which focuses on opportunities for value-added and opportunistic strategies in Singapore, also added a guest speaker, with Jeremy Lake, managing director of the investment sales and capital markets team at Savills. in Singapore, now set to speak alongside Adrian Lee, Singapore Head of Investments and Asset Management at AEW, along with other speakers expected to join the panel list in the coming days.

A total of more than 27 speakers are now ready to take the stage at the Mingtiandi Forum, which will be broadcast to hundreds of viewers across the region via the MTD TV online video platform.

The session is headlined by a spotlight interview with Jeffrey Perlman, Managing Director and Head of Southeast Asia, as well as Head of Real Estate for Asia-Pacific at Warburg Pincus, who will share insights into outlook for Singapore property markets.

Also on the program, a panel of experts bringing together speakers from Ivanhoé Cambridge, Oxford Properties, Allianz Real Estate and JLL.
