Lewiston will hold a public investment forum in the city

LEWISTON — The city will host a public forum titled “Building the Lewiston Investment Case” on Wednesday, April 27, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., in Callahan Hall at the Lewiston Public Library, 200 Lisbon St.

The forum is aimed at existing and potential commercial real estate owners and developers and will feature five panelists who will discuss creating opportunities and solving challenges for local business investment.

Panelists include Matt Assia, director of asset management at Chinburg Properties; Jim Brady, president of Fathom Companies; Thomas Platz, developer and architect at Platz Associates; Paul Ureneck, director of commercial real estate at Colby College; and Misty Parker, Deputy Director of Economic and Community Development for the City of Lewiston. The panel will be moderated by architect Mark Lee.

“When you take a closer look at Lewiston, it’s easy to see that the city is teeming with opportunity. It’s a chance to dive deep into Lewiston’s business development market and chat with talented developers about how best to realize our full potential,” Parker said.
