General Manager of KAMAZ Sergei Kogogin and senior company executives participate in the international Made in export forum Russia which takes place in Moscow these days.
In his speech at the plenary session “The economy of change. Creating a New Geography of Exports’ held on Thursday October 20the general manager of KAMAZ refuted the assumption that Russia may be completely “cut off” from international markets. The reason is simple – the demand for Russian products in foreign markets.
“Today, despite the pressure of sanctions, many overseas consumers of KAMAZ products continue to place orders. Popularity is due to brand awareness, optimal price-performance ratio, availability of parts spare parts, the reliability of KAMAZ vehicles and the great ease of maintenance,’ Sergei Kogogin Explain. He also listed the main export markets of KAMAZ and cited a number of figures indicating the dynamics of the indicators in recent years and the sustainable development of KAMAZ vehicle supplies for export.
In addition, Sergei Kogogin stressed that favorable conditions have been created for Russian companies for export activities. In recent years, the government of Russian Federation and the Russian Export Center have developed and adopted unprecedented measures to support high-tech exports. Taking into account the new realities, they have been adjusted and have become more comfortable for exporters to use. KAMAZ intends to continue working in the direction of export – the company will continue to produce vehicles in demand by foreign customers and increase the share of export deliveries.
Forum participants also included Mikhail Matasov, Deputy Director General of KAMAZ PTC for interaction with state authorities, and Ramil Arifulin, director of the KAMAZ Foreign Trade Company JSC Representative Office in Moscow.
