Regarding the issue of consumer trust in food companies, Anna believes that some simple digital technologies can help improve traceability, transparency and consumer trust. “GS1 HK’s ‘1QR’ is a great example of this: with a single QR code, businesses can offer consumers comprehensive information, such as nutritional information, certification, etc. When combined with tracking capabilities and GS1 HK’s traceability and authentication, merchants can build product credibility and safety, which helps promote local food quality. By harnessing the power of technology and the strength of our partners, GS1 HK remains committed to reducing food safety risks and accelerating industry growth.”
