Investors in Barbados and abroad will have the much-awaited opportunity to catch a glimpse of how the past two years have impacted the investment world and what could happen next when Fortress Fund Managers (FFM ) will host the first-ever virtual investment forum next week.
Under the provocative theme, ‘What A Time: Recent Events and What May Be Next’, the Fortress Virtual Investment Forum will take place on Wednesday, March 23 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.
During the free online forum, investors as well as potential investors will receive updates on the performance and outlook of the leading fund manager’s Barbados and US dollar fund range from members of its investment team – chief investment officer, Peter Arender; Investment Analyst, Rashada Lopez; and Chief Investment Officer, Roger Cave.
Cave, who has led FFM since its launch in December 1996, said the virtual forum “is particularly timely as it will reflect on the memorable times in which we find ourselves and how these circumstances continue to impact regional and global investments. markets”.
The Chief Investment Officer will make a presentation on the topic – “What’s New at Fortress, 25 Years Reflection”. He noted that a lot has changed since Fortress opened its doors. “We introduced new funds, especially US dollar funds, and refined others. The value of the assets we manage has increased dramatically with our client base. We look to the next quarter century and beyond as we continue to seek out and invest in high-quality, well-valued stocks on behalf of our investors.
