Faisalabad Master Plan sent to next forum for approval – Pakistan
FAISALABAD: The master plan for Faisalabad has been sent to the next forum for further approval after detailed consultation between the division, district administration and parliamentarians from the commissioner’s office.
Divisional Commissioner Zahid Hussain chaired a high-level meeting with parliamentarians and after some recommendations, the master plan for Faisalabad was approved at this level.
Earlier, the Divisional Commissioner briefed the house on the important points of the draft master plan prepared by Usmani & Company and informed that all required industrial, residential and future zoning is required. He said that the practical suggestions of parliamentarians would be included in this plan and submitted to the government of Punjab. for final approval. He said that after the implementation of the master plan, the sustainable and organized development of the city will be strong.
Dr Rafe gave details of all aspects of the master plan.
Deputy Commissioner Ali Shahzad, FDA DG Rizwan Nazeer and other officers were also present. Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Mian Farrukh Habib, Ministers of Punjab Mian Khayal Ahmad Kastro, Muhammad Ajmal Cheema, Chairman of Standing Committee on Finance Faiz Ullah Kamooka, MPAs CH. Ali Akhtar, Shakil Shahid and Waris Aziz also participated and expressed their satisfaction with the master plan.
