The evidence clearly shows that our climate is changing, but the changes we experience depend on where we live.
In this presentation, we will discuss observed changes in temperature and precipitation over the past few decades, from a global overview to local changes right here in Ohio. We’ll highlight key challenges facing farmers and agribusinesses in the state, from impacts on planting and harvesting decisions to increased stressors including managing pests, diseases and pests. nutrients. We will end our discussion on ways to individually and collectively adapt to and mitigate expected future changes.
