CamTech-Industry Forum to discuss talent, entrepreneurship

Cambodia University of Technology and Science (CamTech) will host the CamTech-Industry Forum on April 8th.

The university said in a press release that the forum, starting at 1:30 p.m., will provide a platform for government, industry and civil society representatives as well as universities to discuss the issue of the application for talents and supply of industries. focused towards.

The forum will also hold a technical consultation to gather feedback and suggestions for the co-creation of the university’s curriculum to bridge the talent gap and ensure quality education. The statement said the forum will also foster collaboration through the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between CamTech and its major industry partners such as Canadia Bank, Mega Asset Management, ISI Group, Chip Mong Industry, Khmum Technology and Demine Robotics.
The collaboration aims to foster talent development, innovation and knowledge mobilization, including knowledge generation, dissemination, exchange, transfers and co-creation between CamTech and industries.
The main objectives of the forum are to provide a platform for civil society, government and industry representatives as well as academia to establish a collaborative framework for knowledge mobilization and for talent development, innovation and entrepreneurship, especially in the STEM field. He also intends to gather feedback and suggestions on CamTech’s curriculum to ensure the university generates relevant talent to meet industry demand.
